5.1 Queue Voicemail

This section provides an overview of how to listen to and manage voicemail. Discuss the agency’s specific voicemail handling processes with a supervisor, as processes may vary. 

Queue voicemails display as incoming interactions.

To listen to the voicemail:

  1. Select the interaction (the same as for an incoming call).
  2. Click the play button to listen to the voicemail.
Note Anyone with access to the queue can see or listen to the voicemails in that queue.

To forward voicemails and return calls from a voicemail:

  1. Click the arrow to forward the voicemail to another user or a queue.
  2. Click the phone number to call the person who left the voicemail.
